Thanks for the comments and your input on green roofs! Have you started yours? If you live in an apartment, why not get the neighbors to join you? It's a great way to have a common positive goal with your neighbors and to bond with them over the garden. In addition, it will nourish all of you to continue to grow together!

Keep growing!
Jubie
Comment on Girl's gone to greener gardens!

Hi! Just checked out your site! I'm glad to see you are suppling gardeners along with other great products on your site! There are hot spicy peppers and sweet ones too! They have all turned out to be very tasty!

Thanks for the comments and.....

Keep growing!

Jubie
Comment on Girl's gone to greener gardens!

Hi Martin! Thanks for the encouragement! I am learning so much as I go! I really do want others to learn too! It is so rewarding, the food is fresh tasty and full of nutrition! It is truly alive and really does make the difference! But if you can't grow, you should support those who grow locally and who truly grow organic.

Thanks for stopping by the garden!

Keep growing,
Jubie
Comment on Girl's gone to greener gardens!

I can see excatly where you are coming from in this world of sterile supermarkets and junk food. Especially with the food crisis, this is a great way to increase fresh food for the population. As a New Yorker, I would love to see much, much more greenery, especially in the public housing areas. Just think what great teaching tools these mini ecosystems would make! Oh, and I would love to see some koi pools and miniwaterfalls included in the designs....

Comment on Recent tomato traumas? Everyone has their own time and place to contribute to the planet. Like I have always said, if you can't or don't have time, space etc. to grow your food then do the next best thing by supporting your local growers!

I am telling you, now the tomato plants are taller than me! We have lots of tomatoes too! Plus other veggies right here on our apartment patio this year!

Thanks so much for the compliments and the encouragement you have given me throughout my posts!

All the best to you and going over to visit your blog just now.....and as always,

Keep growing (in more ways than one!)
Jubie
Comment on Recent tomato traumas? We're lucky to be in a corner of the world where we can get good locally (or close by) grown veggies all year, so it really doesn't make sense for us to grow our own (except for basil and such), just two of us and all. We've done it before, in another mountain valley near here, but it was a lot of work for what we got, good as it was. We're better off leaving it to the folks who've got the garden plots . . . Which we're following closely on our blog.
We salute you and your efforts at getting the world going greener.
G & L

Comment on Recent tomato traumas? I never knew there could be such a difference.
